Traditional flexible packaging is made by laminating multiple layers of different plastics together. Bags, films, and pouches made from multiple plastic structures means it is nearly impossible to process and delaminate in our current plastic recycling facilities, and they have nowhere to go but our landfills.
Our recyclable pouches are made from one structure (mono-material), meaning it qualifies for the Store Drop-Off Program where they’re in place and can be processed into raw materials and converted into engineered fuel, a better alternative to the landfill.
